Terpenes: limonene, pregeijerene, geijerene and germacrene D from essential oil of leaves and stems; glucuronic acid and its derivatives, galactose, arabinose and proteinaceous material from gum

Essential oil of leaves and stems: antimicrobial, mosquito and larvicidal against Aedes aegypti and Anopheles stephensi; ethanol extract of whole plant: hepatoprotective
